Sad Animal Facts

I have to say upfront that I love animals. I heart them so much.

Like, I love them so much that when people tell me they don’t like a particular animal (like cats), I instantly file it away as a character flaw.

So that being said, I look forward to learning a new sad animal fact daily. I’m not a terrible human, I promise.

Learn some sad animal facts here or follow the Instagram feed here. Go on, just click. The illustrations are just too pathetically cute.

If you’re reading this post you probably enjoy reading blogs. I do too. But up until recently I just bookmarked the blogs I like, then bounced around to check out what’s new with them when I’m avoiding work of any kind. Then I found Bloglovin’, where you can follow all of your favorite blogs from one feed. You won’t miss a thing, unless you’re trying to.

They also suggest new blogs based on the ones you follow so you’ll never run out of posts to peruse. Aaaand … WritingInBold.com is on Bloglovin’, so mosey on over there, create an account, and follow along!

I loved my guy when he was a newborn. Those tiny fingers and toes were just too, too much. But having a newborn was hard. So hard that I considered the possibility of our family being three forever.

And then one day he wasn’t a newborn anymore.

Now we have a toddler. I see pictures of newborns on Facebook and I think back to those days of teeny, tiny fingers and toes and I want another one. Not right this second, of course. (Mom, calm down!) But, ooooooooh, I can’t wait to hold a brand new person in my arms again.

And then I see pictures like this and know that I CAN wait.

Statement Sandals

I am not a fashionista. But I enjoy fashion. I especially love fashion when it’s effortless. I read this post on “statement sandals” and now I need some. I neeeeeeed some! Not necessarily those exact sandals (although they’re pretty great). I just really like the idea of throwing on a v-neck t-shirt, a pair of jeans, big earrings, and fabulous sandals and then being done with the whole thing.

Motherhood really does a number on your style sense.

So, I’m taking recommendations. What sandals are you obsessing over this season? I’m considering all options.

And beyond that, what are you obsessing over in general? Please share!

Happy Friday! See you on the other side of this beautiful July weekend.
