Every so often I get itchy.
I don’t mean, I-must-be-allergic-to-something itchy. I mean, that feeling like something’s not quite right. Like my shoes don’t fit and I want to get out of the house and DO something, but I don’t know what. It’s when I hear my favorite song and it’s just that old song again. I feel stuck in a rut and desperately want to get out.
We all get a case of the itchies now and then.
What makes this itchy feeling different than an ordinary case of the blahs is that we don’t want to feel so apathetic. We want to care about something. We want to experience everything life has in store for us. Yet, we feel like it’s all out of reach.
And so we complain. We complain and complain and complain. Someone shares positive news and we reply with, “Must be nice.” We get cynical, apathetic, and negative. But deep down inside we’re just frustrated because we’ve got this itchy feeling that we’re not doing what we’re supposed to be doing, that there’s more to life than eat, sleep, and work.
We could go on complaining, blaming, and sighing until the cows come home. But it ain’t gonna change anything.
So, what do you do when you’ve got a case of the itchies?
You gotta shift your perspective.
I’m ready now – let’s do this! (Click here to get your FREE workbook now.)
In order to do that, you need to thoroughly examine the state you’re in and then make some strategic changes.
I know this feeling so, so well. It comes from focusing too much attention on one thing and not enough on another. When it hits me, I know I need to shake things up a bit and see what happens.
And what happens is always worth it.
I’ve been there! I’ve come down with the itchies so many times, I could write a book on it. So, I did. I made a FREE workbook just for you so you can ditch the itchies and shift your perspective too.
Here’s the thing, when we realize we need to make a change in our lives, we often look for change outside of ourselves. We start criticizing our partners for not doing this or being that. We think leather pants are a good idea. We want to quit our jobs and shave our heads.

And maybe quitting our jobs and shaving our heads is precisely the thing to do, but before you do, try the activities and suggestions in this workbook. I’m positive they’ll give you a deeper understanding of what is lacking in your life, as well as a few great suggestions for gaining it back. This is how we shift our perspective. This is how we start living in BOLD.
Heck yes! I’m ready! Let’s SHIFT! (Click here to get your FREE workbook.)
